The Gothenburg Improvement Company plays a vital role in securing the future of Gothenburg. Through the efforts of our stockholders we have created many new jobs and new opportunities for growth in Gothenburg. This volunteer organization depends on the continued dedication of its stockholders and their willingness to freely give of their time, talents and financial resources. Our primary goal is to improve and preserve the quality of life that makes Gothenburg the place we all call home.

We also offer corporate sponsorships in two levels. Through corporate sponsorship, your business can show support for what our volunteer economic development group works to provide. 

GIC Sponsorships are annual contributions funding the efforts of the Gothenburg Improvement Company, not long-term stockholder commitments. With your corporate sponsorship, your business will not only help make Gothenburg a better community, but you will also be setting an example of support for those around you

All GIC corporate sponsors will be included in advertising and promotion done by GIC — a minimum of two half-page ads per year in the local paper.

PLATINUM — $2,500+ per year
Your company logo will be used in GIC ads recognizing corporate sponsorships. 
All of your company’s employees will be invited to attend the GIC annual meeting and other GIC events.
All of your company’s employees who are GIC stockholders will receive a 50% discount on annual assessments. 

GOLD — $1,000 per year
Your company name will be listed in GIC ads recognizing corporate sponsorships.
Up to five of your employees will be invited to attend the GIC annual meeting and other GIC events.
